How to donate

As with most civilian mountain rescue teams, the Kinder Mountain Rescue Team are all volunteers. We do not make any charge for our services, nor are we paid. We are a registered charity. We are funded entirely by charitable donations from the public, local organisations and companies. We receive no regular government funding or grants.

It costs around £25,000 per year to run the team. Much of our income to cover this comes from individuals, either by making a donation or by organising a fundraising event on our behalf. Whether large or small, we are grateful for all donations that help keep the team running.
