I was contacted by the Duty Controller to ask us to search for a missing walker.

29: Callout 10th September 2011

  • Type – exhausted walker
  • Location – Edale Cross
  • Team Members – 17

I received a call from another team leader just after 9pm, passing on a call for assistance from a walker sat at Edale Cross who was exhausted and unable to continue.

28: Callout – 2 September 2011

  • Location – Ashop Head

  • Duration – 2Hrs or 22 man hours

The team were called to assist  Glossop team, following a report that a walker had broken her leg, near to the Ashop Head.  Air Ambulance had also been requested.
