We were called at 20:00 to search for a walker who had reported himself lost. The initial information was sketchy so the Mountain Rescue controller instigated the Kinder plan, calling Kinder, Glossop, Edale and Buxton MRTs, along with SARDA search dogs. As the search progressed more detailed information came to light, indicating that the man was on day one of the Pennine Way. We adjusted our search patterns and the gentleman was located safe and well by Glossop team on Bleaklow and walked off the hill. The team stood down at midnight.
