We were called to assist a walker with a reported knee injury. Their position was confirmed via SARLOC to be just off Kinder Low.
A fast response party was deployed to the location ahead of the main team. On arrival they found the casualty to be part of a larger Duke of Edinburgh (DoE) group.
Further hill parties quickly arrived on scene and were able to stretcher carry the casualty to the waiting team landrover ambulance. The remainder of the DoE group were able to carry on to their campsite while the casualty was taken to the local hospital in the team landrover ambulance for further assessment and treatment.
The team were stood down at 20:38 hrs.
