The team were asked initially to assist an ambulance crew reach a lady at a local farm. This job was stood down, then we were straight away tasked to support Derbyshire CC with clearing the main routes in the area. Our team were asked to follow a plough from Chapel to Glossop, assisting any drivers they found. En route they found 2 cars stuck on Marsh Lane, and evacuated 2 drivers back to New Mills. They then proceeded round and followed over to Hayfield. After a quick crew change, the vehicles carried on to the Monks Road / Plough pub area where one of the gritters had got stuck. They waited till it was released and the drivers able to proceed down into Glossop before returning to base.
